In Wake of Recent Reports, Internists Call for Immediate Action to Address Climate Change

Washington, DC (November 29, 2018) — In light of three recent reports, the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ (ACP) is deeply concerned about the negative impact that climate change is having on public health and patients, and that these effects will worsen without immediate action.

Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ names new Vice President for Medical Education

Philadelphia, November 28, 2018 -- The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ (ACP) has named Tabassum Salam, MD, FACP, as the organization’s Vice President for Medical Education, effective December 3, 2018.

ACP made the selection after a national search for the largest medical specialty organization in the United States. Dr. Salam succeeds Sean McKinney, who retired in June.
