‘Caring With Compassion’ is free to the medical community
Philadelphia, March 26, 2019 – The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ (ACP) has released , a free online learning activity focusing on care for socioeconomically disadvantaged populations.
Philadelphia, March 15, 2019 -- The 2019 Main Residency Match revealed that internal medicine remains the largest training specialty, offering one-quarter (25.2 percent) of all PGY-1 positions in the Match. Internal medicine programs offered a record high 8,116 categorical positions and 396 primary care positions, an increase of 574 categorical positions (7.6 percent) and 22 primary care positions (5.9 percent) from the 2018 Match. Of these positions, 7,733 (97.7 percent) were filled, 3,424 (44.3 percent) by U.S. medical school seniors.

Washington, DC (February 25, 2019) — The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ (ACP) is alarmed by the administration’s final draft rule changing the Title X Family Planning program. These significant changes to Title X will jeopardize access to health care for vulnerable, often working, low-income patients who may have limited to no access to health insurance. These changes will also harm the patient-physician relationship.
