August 14, 2020 – In a letter sent yesterday, the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ (ACP) provided feedback to the Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC) with the aim of helping to enhance their review of physician-focused payment models (PFPMs). In addition to ACP’s own letter, 13 other major health organizations also composed a separate letter that made similar recommendations.

Washington, DC (August 7, 2020) —The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ (ACP) says that while the proposed changes to the Medicare Quality Payment Program (QPP) make some initial accommodations to help physicians who are dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on their practices, that still more needs to be done. The proposed Quality Payment Program rule for 2021 was released earlier this week.
