Earn MOC Points for Postgraduate Courses

Successful completion of these CME activities, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables participants to earn MOC points in medical knowledge in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for these activities. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

How to Claim MOC Points for Postgraduate Courses

  1. Register for and attend a Postgraduate Course.

  2. After the Postgraduate Course, submit for CME credit.

  3. Have your ABIM number handy () and, after claiming CME credit, complete the quiz and achieve a passing score of 60 percent or higher. You may take the quiz as many times as needed to obtain a passing score.

  4. Once you pass the quiz and enter your ABIM information, your MOC points claim is automatically submitted to the ABIM. The number of MOC points you receive will be equal to the number of CME credits claimed.

  5. The 2022 Postgraduate Course MOC points must be claimed by December 31, 2024.

  6. Please allow 2-3 business days for the MOC points to appear on your ABIM transcript.

Please note: CME and MOC links below will not be active until noon on the last day of the course.
