2024 Utah Chapter Awardees
The 2024 awards ceremony will honor six Utah Chapter members: Jennifer Scott, MD FACP is being presented with the Chapter Service Award for her dedication and hard work on behalf of the Utah Chapter; Bireen Whitten, MD FACP is being recognized and respected for her leadership in medicine as well as the chapter; Kevin Johnson, MD is being presented with the Internist Award for his dedicated practice of internal medicine and exemplary patient care; Mita Hoppenfeld, MD with the Early Career Physician Award for her energy and dedication to the profession of medicine; David Chen, MD [R] will receive the Resident/Fellow Award for leadership in his residency program and going above what is required for a resident in the Utah Chapter ACP and Kayla Woodring [MS] is being recognized for her demonstrated commitment to excellence in medical care, the chapter, and the ACP.
