Why Attend?
We will explore the critical relationship between voting access and health outcomes and identify ways healthcare providers can get involved to close this gap. We will examine how barriers to voting can disproportionately affect marginalized communities, leading to disparities in health and well-being and are a social determinant of health. In partnership with Vot-ER’s nonpartisan voter registration tools, we will discuss strategies to empower voters in order to help build healthier communities.
