MKSAP is 'gold standard' for clinical reference
Philadelphia, May 1, 2015 - Internal medicine specialists and subspecialists will be able to update their knowledge, earn CME credit, or prepare for board certification with the 17th edition of the , being released by the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ this summer.

Updated by an editorial team of more than 100 physicians, MKSAP 17 is available in print and digital versions and features evidence-based text sections and 1,200 case-based questions that are similar to what physicians will see on the board examination.
MKSAP 17 Print includes 11 books. Each book focuses on a specific area of internal medicine and includes High Value Care recommendations and integrated High Value Care key points, hospitalist-focused content, tables, and full-color images.
MKSAP 17 Digital includes all the text content and questions included in MKSAP 17 Print, delivered online and as an app for use on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Digital text updates and 200 Update questions are included. New features include a user-driven interface, improved custom quiz functionality, and the pretest feature, which allows users to gauge their learning needs before they study.
MKSAP 17 Digital users can check peer statistics, link to related content, view the dashboard for progress, and submit same-day CME. Physicians can submit answers to multiple-choice questions online or by mail for scoring.
MKSAP 17 Complete includes MKSAP 17 Print, MKSAP 17 Digital, MKSAP 17 Flashcards, Board Basics, and Virtual DX.
MKSAP 17 Flashcards, a new addition to the MKSAP Complete suite of products, includes 1,200 digital, mobile-friendly flashcards, linked to each self-assessment question key point. Physicians can create custom sets, mark incorrect answers, and try them again later.
Board Basics is a 350-page book and companion e-book filled with crucial material that physicians should review right before taking the board examination.
Virtual Dx is an online-study program offering physicians practice in interpretive diagnostic skills, with more than 400 high-resolution, scalable images in 11 major categories.
MKSAP is specifically intended for physicians who provide personal, nonsurgical care to adults, such as general internists and primary care physicians, subspecialists who need to remain up-to-date in internal medicine, residents preparing for board certification in internal medicine, and physicians preparing to re-certify in internal medicine.
ACP designates MKSAP 17 for a maximum of 200 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)â„¢. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. MKSAP 17 is now available for pre-order. The following print books (part A) will be available on July 31, 2015: Cardiovascular Medicine, Dermatology, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Hematology and Oncology, Neurology, and Rheumatology. Digital versions of part A will be available on Aug. 31.
The following print books (part B) will be available on Dec. 31: Endocrinology and Metabolism, General Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Digital versions of part B will be available on Jan. 31, 2016.
