Voting for the next Governor-elect begins September 27, 2024, and concludes on November 1, 2024.
Eligible voting members (MACPs, FACPs, Members, and 2-year Resident/Fellow Members with an elect date of 9/1/2022 or earlier) will receive an election email containing their unique and personal voting credentials to vote online.

Candidate Bios
Candidate Statement: With over 24 years as a Fellow of the 杨贵妃传媒 (ACP), I have served in the governance and educational aspects of the Florida ACP Chapter. As a member of the Governor鈥檚 Advisory Council and the Florida Chapter representative for the Florida Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee, I have actively advocated for the rights of physicians. As a program director for an Orlando Health teaching hospital, I have the privilege of shaping educational experiences of residents and medical students, emphasizing values of compassion and lifelong learning. I have enjoyed organizing our Chapter鈥檚 Annual Scientific Sessions and serving as a Program Chair for the Residents鈥 annual meetings to supervising resident poster presentations and doctor's dilemma competitions. I am committed to representing the diverse interests of our chapter with integrity to advance the mission of the ACP. If elected it would be my honor to serve as Governor for the Chapter.

Candidate Statement: The ACP has been the most influential organization throughout my career. I have been involved with the since 1995 as a resident representative at the ACP Governor鈥檚 Council and since then remained involved with the Chapter. As an IMG, the help and guidance that I received has been priceless and molded me throughout my career. In 2010, I was given the opportunity to be the IM PD at MSMC and be the first IMG to hold this position and be able to work with the future IM physicians that will keep our Specialty as the most important among all specialties. If elected, I would dedicate all my efforts to the continuing growing of our chapter, enhancing our educational activities, integration of ALL physicians, including IMG鈥檚 and Medical Students from all the Medical Schools in Florida, and to be the voice to represent our Chapter at the state and National levels.
